About IRMASAT:
IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT) is conducted by Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). The scores obtained by a candidate in IRMASAT are considered for the admission in the Post graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRM) and Fellow Programme in Rural management (FPRM)
CAT/XAT scores are required to get admissions to IRMA’s PGDRM course. The admission process starts with Application Submission, IRMASAT, Group Activity (GA), and ends with Personal Interview (PI). The application process for IRMASAT 2021 will, tentatively, commence in the last week of September 2020
IRMASAT 2021 Eligibility:
- A candidate applying for the IRMASAT 2020 should have graduated with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD students) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or are in their final year of graduation (their admission will remain provisional until submission of the passing certificate).
- Candidates appearing for IRMASAT selection process must have a valid score in CAT 2020 and XAT 2021.
- No age restrictions are stated by the Authorities conducting IRMASAT.
IRMASAT Registration process:
- The registration procedure starts with the candidate registering themselves by providing their details and preferences online.
- After registering online, candidates can proceed by filling the IRMASAT 2020 application form. A Candidate is required to select the desired PG program and institutes and enter relevant details at the time of filling application form.
- Once registered successfully, the registration fee has to be made. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of dully filled-form and fee payment acknowledgement slip with them for any future reference.

- After the registration is completed, candidates are provided with their Admit cards by the conducting authorities.

IRMASAT Exam pattern:
- Authorities conducting IRMASAT will announce the mode of exam, number of sections, marking scheme and types of questions. The exam would be of 80 minutes long in which a candidate has to answer 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The marking scheme as for the previous year was: for every correct answer 1 mark would be rewarded and for every wrong answer 1/4th (0.25) will be deducted from the total.
- Questions in IRMASAT 2021 will be asked from the topics of social Concern or General Awareness, some important topics are Agriculture, corporate social responsibility, Employment & Literacy, Human rights, Health issues, Indian economy, Rural development, Social & Economic Development.

IRMASAT scholarship:
IRMA offers scholarships and financial assistance to the deserving students through various schemes and scholarships. Some of them are:
- Scholarships for SC/ST students
- Scholarships for students with disabilities and
- Education loans
IRMASAT counselling:
IRMA selects candidate under two categories; Merit-cum-profile and Merit-based-call (non-profit-Based call).
To be shortlisted for Merit-cum-profile a Candidate has to fulfill the following criteria:
- Graduation in: Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, veterinary sciences, Feed Technology.
- Work experience in Development Sector, Dairy, public policy.
- Candidates of general category, scoring 80% or above in CAT 2020/XAT 2021 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT.
Candidates of general category who have scored 85% or above in CAT 2020/XAT 2021 are eligible under Non-profile based call criteria.
Documents required at the time of Selection Process:
- IRMASAT Score Card/ Hall ticket
- CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE scorecard
- Passport-size multiple photographs
- Original degree/provisional certificate
- Original and photocopy of Counselling letter
- Work experience letter
- Caste certificate
For foreign students, Personal Interview is done telephonically.
