About IIFT:

The IIFT exam offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada is a management aptitude test for admissions to MBA International business course. National Testing agency (NTA) conducts IIFT exam in the month of December, in online or computer-based mode across various exam centers in India.  In IIFT about 50, 000 candidates appear for the exam and as of IIFT 2020, 39, 769 registrations have been filed.

Candidates will get 2-hours (180 minutes) to answer 110 questions in MCQ format comprising of questions from English, Quantitative ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and General Awareness, with the best of their ability. The schedule for IIFT will be announced in August (tentative).

IIFT accepts GMAT scores for Foreign/NRI/PIO candidate’s admission. Candidates under this category can apply for IIFT admission till March 31, 2021.

IIFT Eligibility:

•   A candidate applying for the IIFT 2020 should have graduated of any 3 years duration in any discipline or equivalent form a recognized university/Institute with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD students) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or are in their final year of graduation (heir admission will remain provisional until submission of the passing certificate).
• Students graduated from any International Universities re required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the association of Indian Universities (AIU).
• No age restrictions are stated by the Authorities conducting IIFT.

IIFT Registration process:

• The registration procedure starts with the candidate registering themselves by providing their details and preferences online.
• Once registered successfully, the registration fee has to be made. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of dully filled-form and fee payment acknowledgement slip with them for any future reference.

• After registering online and successfully paying the registration fee, candidates can proceed by filling the SNAP 2020 application form. A Candidate is required to select the desired PG program and institutes and enter relevant details at the time of filling application form.
• After the registration is completed, candidates are provided with their Admit cards by the conducting authorities.

As mentioned above the question paper will have about 110 questions in the multiple choice format of moderate to high difficulty level from the sections of Vocabulary and Comprehension (reading), General Knowledge & current affairs, Logical Reasoning & Data interpretation, and Qualitative Analysis. A candidate can score a maximum of 100 in the test. The score weightage in all the sections are stated in the table below:

IIFT Counselling:

IIFT qualifying candidates are selected on the basis of their merit, Rank scored in IIFT 2021 exam, and their performance in the Writing test, Group discussion (GD) and Personal interview (PI) rounds and the availability of seats in the chosen colleges according to the preference.

IIFT 2021 counselling is scheduled to start after the announcement of result. Date, time and venue will be announced by the examining authority.

• Original and photocopy of Counselling letter
